Food Security

The mission of the food security cluster is to prevent and manage food crises and natural and human disasters.  It is a platform for exchanging information, capacity building and coordination of all the food security interventions while incorporating cross-cutting themes such as gender, environment and HIV/AIDS.  It is a space for sharing relevant information useful for decision makers (governments and donors) and humanitarians (international NGOs, national NGOs, farmers’ organisations and all other relevant stakeholders). The cluster follows the national priorities in close cooperation with relevant national institutions within the Ministries
