Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF)
CERF is a tool created by the United Nations to pre-position funding for humanitarian assistance to those affected by natural disasters and armed conflicts.
Common Humanitarian Fund (CHF)
CHF is the CAR's pooled fund and provides funding to priority, underfunded projects in the Coordinated Aid Programme (CAP) during twice-yearly standard allocations and often an emergency reserve allocation.
Peacebuilding Fund (PBF)
PBF is the UN Secretary General's Fund launched in 2006 to support activities, actions, programmes and organisations that seek to build a lasting peace in countries emerging from conflict.
Funding Databases
Financial Tracking Service (FTS)
FTS is a global, real-time database which records all reported international humanitarian aid; including that for NGOs and the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, bilateral aid, in-kind aid and private donations.
Development Aid Database (DAD)
DAD is a database with information on humanitarian and development projects in the CAR.
